Welcome to Heidelberg
I went on a wonderful tour of Heidelberg Castle and old town Heidelberg in the morning, cruised the Rhine in the afternoon, and wandered through Rudesheim early evening. It was a spectacular day!

Flightseeing the Misty Fjords
Debra and I went on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in Ketchikan - a tour of Misty Fjords National Monument on a single-prop floatplane, with a water landing in the fjords. The scenery was breathtaking and the experience was incredible!

A Most Charming Small Town
Debra and I took a day trip to the historic town of Gruene, Texas, which was settled by German immigrants in the mid-1800s. We nosed around the historic buildings and shops and had the best damned rib eye steaks we've ever had!

A Morning Stroll in Amsterdam
I explored the Centrum borough of Amsterdam, home to many city landmarks. I saw a few sights I intended to see and others by keeping my "eyes wide open." It was a delightful way to spend the morning!

Mykonos, The Island of the Winds
Debra and I were in Chora, the capital of Myknonos, a picturesque island in the Aegean Sea. We loved this quaint town with its cobble streets and whitewashed buildings. It was a magical day!

Dutch Treats
Debra and I had a wonderful day in the Dutch countryside, where we toured a traditional kaasmaker (cheese maker) and a cluster of windmills that are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was awesome!

Wonders of Nature: the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert
Debra and I visited two parks in northern Arizona we had not seen before. The weather was picture perfect and these natural wonders were breathtaking!

Halona Blowhole
After a full day of sightseeing on Oahu, Debra and I drove along the scenic Kalaniana'ole Highway to see the Halona Blowhole, a natural wonder carved by a volcano thousands of years ago. It was awesome!
